AWANA Clubs for Kids Ages 3 to 12 (6th Grade)
What’s happening at EBF?
Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. One of the most important values of this church is our mission to the world. It begins in our own community, and spreads overseas to every nation. Church members are involved in a variety of ministries including the following areas:
Mission Outreach
Eastgate Bible Fellowship is thrilled to be part of the spread of God’s kingdom around the world. Not only do we take seriously our responsibility to share the gospel in our neighborhood, we are active in sending missionaries and supporting these missionaries with our money and with our prayers. Learn more about our missionaries and how you can pray for them please visit our Missionaries page.

AWANA is a worldwide program that is a club that involves pre-school aged children through Sr. High.
Our club starts with Cubbies (3+4 years old), Sparks (Kindergarten through 2nd grade), and T&T (3rd through 6th graders).
AWANA’s pledge states that it’s goal is to “Reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him.”

Our youth ministry exists to encourage youth to connect with other believers, to honor God with their life and to equip them for their ministry of sharing their faith with their peers.
No Sunday Morning Youth Group at this time due to COVID-19 restrictions.
Eastgate Youth (JH & HS, Grades 6-12) generally meets Sunday Mornings at 9:30 am.
Men’s Ministry
Calling all men who want to make a difference in their world for the Lord Jesus.
We all need to learn how to balance work, family, and your relationship with Christ. Here at Eastgate Bible Fellowship we seek to provide opportunities that allow men to get together and encourage each other in their walk with God.
Women’s Ministries
“And let us consider how to stir up one another to love and good works, not neglecting to meet together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another, and all the more as you see the Day drawing near.”
There are three branches of ministry included in Women’s Ministry:
Encouragement
Equipping
Events
Ushers
The usher team at our church fills an important role. They are involved in directing attendees to their seats, ensuring the safety of the building during services, guiding traffic, helping visitors, answering questions, providing direction, unlocking doors, locking doors, and generally ensuring that the service can proceed problem-free. The usher team is a servant-hearted group whose ministry is integral to church life.
Media & Technology
Using media to spread the gospel is a privilege of this church. In an age of widespread technology, we have a stewardship to use these tools as best as possible for kingdom purposes. All of our weekly sermons are uploaded to our website in audio format. We also maintain an active Facebook account for additional church communication.
Prayer
Prayer cannot be overestimated. Prayer moves the hand of God. Our Church is a body of believers dependent upon prayer, and committed to God’s sovereignty. Each Sunday, during the morning service, a team of volunteers is praying for the ministry of the Word. Every Sunday evening at 5:00 pm, we meet for a Share and Prayer Hour where we pray for the needs of our church, our missionaries, and those we are reaching for Christ.
