Ephesians 6:10–11, 18 (ESV)

10Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of his might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil…18 praying at all times in the Spirit, with all prayer and supplication. To that end, keep alert with all perseverance, making supplication for all the saints.”

Philippians 4:4–7 (ESV)

4 Rejoice in the Lord always; again I will say, rejoice. 5 Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand; 6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Prayer cannot be underestimated. Prayer moves the heart of God. Our church is a body of believers dependent on prayer and committed to the sovereignty of God. Each Sunday, during the morning service, we have a team of people praying for the service and the prayer requests that are submitted by the congregation. Every Sunday evening at 5:00 pm we meet at the church for a time of Share & Prayer for the congregation, the community, and the missionaries we support. Throughout the week our pastor, elders, and deacons are praying for the congregation and the needs they are aware of.

If you have a prayer request, we would love for you to share it with us so that we can join you in lifting up your need before the Lord in prayer. You can submit your request to the prayer wall below.

Ken has been in much pain for several months in his shoulder. He has decided to have surgery to address the pain and we would ask for your prayers. Please pray for wisdom of the doctors and for a speedy and successful recovery for this man I love so very much. Surgery is on Thursday - Jan. 14. Thank you Church Family.

My Aunt Sandy has recently been diagnosed with stage 4 non hodgkins lymphoma. She has cancer in her bones and her abdomen as well. This morning they found an embolism in her lungs. Please be praying for her, wisdom for her doctors, and for her family (Paul & Holli). Thank you.

Please pray for our niece Jen's brother John. We had good news on Tuesday, the doctor said that the tumor in his kidney is only 80% likely that it’s cancer (down from 95% likely that we had heard the week before). He was given the okay to proceed with the heart valve surgery to hopefully resolve the congestive heart failure. But, he went into ER yesterday because his breathing has gotten so much worse. He was admitted and is on the cardiovascular ICU unit which is where I spent several weeks for transplant. In fact, this amazing nurse (you may have met her because she was at my one year anniversary party 🎉) L’Oréal, is taking care of him. He has pneumonia right now which has to be cleared up before heart surgery but they are also testing for COVID. They want to intubate him because he needs 40 liters of oxygen (that’s a lot!) to keep his oxygen saturation up. They will run more tests today. Please pray that he does not need to be intubated and that his pneumonia clears up so that the heart surgery can take place. I’m feeling even more strongly (I always feel this way but it’s very prominent right now) that I really want to put my arms around him and point him to Jesus but he’s so fragile and can’t really speak on the phone due to shortness of breath🙏. I know that the Sprit will remind him of the faith that he was raised with. He knows how to pray. When I was hospitalized we had what I call “the blue room experience” where we immensely felt the presence of Jesus. It was a beautiful experience and caused our faith to grow even more by leaps and bounds. I’ve been praying ever since that day that John (and my whole family) would have that same life changing experience of the presence of the Holy Spirit. Now he is in the very same hospital, on the same floor and with the same doctors and nurses. Please pray with us that he would have that same faith transforming experience.

As a former military member - I seek Restoration, Peace and Grace through our HOLY SPIRIT. Isaiah C1 V18-20 reflects JESUS CHRIST our Messiah - explaining repenting, forgiveness and salvation. John C3 V16 fully explains sacrifice & redemption. Grace through faith. Please intercede for me to FATHER GOD - for his blessings. Amen

Our son David in Los Angeles has tested positive for COVID. He has mild symptoms (loss of taste & smell). He did not come home for Christmas so that is something to be thankful for. He figures he should be at 10 days on the 2nd or 3rd of January. Please pray for it to be a mild case.

Update: Devyn passed away peacefully this morning. She was only 25 years old. She was a courageous, joyful, and determined person who brightened the lives of those lucky enough to know her. Please pray for her parents and sister as they mourn this loss. Pray for peace, hope, courage, and strength for them each. Pray that they may know and cling to God's steadfast love in this time. Many are aching for her and her family at this time. Pray that in this pain, those affected by this loss are drawn closer to God.
